LET'S GO CAMPING!!!
Welcome to 2012! We hope you all enjoyed our 2011 outings, and we hope you will be able to join us again this year. We have 9 outings planned for 2012 starting in mid April at the Wine Country RV Resort in Paso Robles and concluding in November at The Lakes RV Resort in Chowchilla. Due to popular demand, we will be going to Paso Robles twice this year, April and October.
This year, for the first time, we will be staying at the Santa Cruz Redwoods RV Resort, in Felton for our 4th of July outing. Situated among the redwoods and overlooking the San Lorenzo River, this campground has a lot to do including hiking, fishing, river swimming, recreation room, and other activities. They also have several amenities including, full hook up sites, big rig sites, cable TV, WIFI, a club house, and a lot more. If you like towering redwoods, nature walks, or just relaxing in camp, then we think you will really like the Santa Cruz Redwoods RV Resort.
Our “Breakfast in a Bag” (omelets that is) - We plan to continue with “Breakfast in a Bag” this year where possible. If you like omelets and you have never had yours prepared this way, you’re going to love it. This is the perfect breakfast to share and a lot of fun to prepare. Plan to join us for our “Breakfast in a Bag” activities.
Don’t forget the Pioneer Camping Club pot lucks. Where available, we have booked a club house, otherwise we will gather around the campsites (weather permitting). Cook up your meat, grab a drink and bring a dish to share. Pot lucks are a lot of fun and a great way to spend time together.
We have several three, or more night outings planned, but if you can not join us for the entire stay that's OK, just let us know how many nights you want, or if you want to arrive early and/or stay longer, please let us know.
Margaret and I are happy once again to bring you another year of camping outings with the Pioneer Camping Club.

To book any of the above outings, go to the reservations page. Remember that all sites are first come first serve, so please get your reservation in early.
NOTE: Your deposit covers your first nights stay plus a $5 club expenses fee.
Cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to the outing. Return of your deposit will be subject to the rules of the campground. The $5 club expenses fee is non-refundable.
Margaret and I are always looking for new and exciting places to go. If you know of a place that you would like us to look into for the club, please let us know.
